How to Identify Your Golf Cart Batteries
Before you call, take 60 seconds to look inside your battery compartment. Here's exactly what to look for — no experience needed.
First: Lift the seat and open your battery compartment
On most golf carts the batteries live under the seat or in a front compartment. You'll see a row of rectangular black or grey boxes with cables connecting them. That's your battery pack.
Count the batteries
Count every individual battery box in the compartment. Most carts have 4, 6, 7, or 8 batteries.
Count the caps on ONE battery
Look at the top of any single battery. You'll see round plastic caps in a row — these cover the cells inside. Count them.
